Mandie Cummins: Majorette Twirl

 Mandie Cummins brings more than 20 years of twirling experience to the Mount Pisgah Fine Arts Academy.  A former Miss Majorette of Texas, Ms. Cummins also won a Texas state championship as a member of the competitive twirling team, The Lone Star Ladies.  In addition to competing at the highest levels of baton twirling, Ms. Cummins was also a feature twirler!  She has performed for Former First Lady Barbara Bush, in addition to twirling in the inaugural parade for former Texas Governor Anne Richards.  Mandie graduated from Clemson University, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Speech and Communications Studies, as well as a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development.

Sarah Pigott: Asst to Musical Theater Grades 5-8

Sarah Pigott studied Voice Performance and Pedagogy at Mississippi College where she received both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in music. In addition to a love of teaching, she continues to perform both in classical and musical theater venues. Sarah has performed across the United States and in France. She collaborated on a study on laryngeal manipulation and the singing warm up which was presented at the Voice Foundation Symposium.


One of her favorite roles was as Vincenette in Gounod's Mireille in France. She also completed the Songfest Young Artist Program in LA, and co-presented a study at The Voice Foundation this past spring.  Ms. Pigott teaches classical, contemporary and musical theater genres and specializes in college and audition preparation.
